LONDON (AP) J.K. Rowling has found success that any writer might envy with her Harry Potter books, but she says she sometimes yearns to be invisible so she could go back to writing in cafes. Rowling, who recently published her fifth Potter adventure, spoke to 4,000 children Thursday at London's vast Royal Albert Hall, decorated as Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Untold numbers of children also joined in on an Internet Web cast.

The audience screamed with delight when Rowling, 37, took to the stage, days after her fans got hold of the 766-page Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It sold 1.8 million copies on its first day.

"If I could have any power, I would love to have the power of invisibility," she said when asked what magical power she would choose. "It's a little bit sad, but I would probably sneak off to a cafe and write all day."

Rowling drew gasps from the audience when she refused to reveal if Harry would survive the end of the series, which she has said will include two more books.

"You have to wait and see whether he survives to be a grown-up," she said. "I'm not saying he won't, but I don't want to give anything away."

What a job!
